I love working with people and business' to create a truly unique and special painting that captures an important moment or place in life or enhances the living or business space  
  • We will have a teleconference to discuss your project and the details of the work
  • I will need you to send me at least one quality reference photo to work from. The image needs to be clear with a good resolution before I begin the artwork. (if the image is questionable I can still work with it... with the understanding that a poor photo image may effect the paintings interpretation)
  • We will agree on the price and the details of the work before I begin and we will both sign a digital contract.
  • I require half of the fee up front to begin painting.
  • Paintings generally take 2 - 3 months from start to ship.
  • Shipping is an additional fee, to be discussed before beginning.
  • I will send a quality photo of the painting before I ship.  You have the opportunity to request one small change at this time, if needed.  When the painting is finished, the balance of the fee is due.
  • The painting will be made on a cradled wood panel.  The sides will be painted black (unless you request differently) and it will be ready to hang on the wall.  Canvas will be used for larger paintings.
  • I take great care to create an accurate likeness but need you to also be open to the way painting naturally transforms an image.

It is so exciting working on commissions or portraits, which is a high honor. I have the best time getting that personality, that beauty, that lovely expression of another Person, Beloved Pet, Place or an Abstract Vision into an image that will be treasured for life and generations to come.
